ADMIN FEE REQUIRED: R8000.00 (REFUNDABLE AFTER THE WEDDING LESS DAMAGES/ EXPENSES) WEDDING PAYMENT: o FOUR MONTHS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING: 50% of the total cost to be paid. o TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO WEDDING: balance of payment to be made. For Ollivanders to meet with obligations in terms of our service providers, ensuring that we offer the best service possible to our valuable clients, it is important that these payments are received timeously. (Failure to make these payments by the due date will result in penalties being charged) All prices quoted are subject to change, provided that Ollivanders input costs have unforeseeably increased to the extent that it is no longer viable for Ollivanders to host the function. The client will be notified immediately if such an unusual circumstance should arise. All accounts including your bar limit and accommodation, or any other pre-arranged expenses are to be settled fourteen (14) days prior to the function.
Payment may be made by means of cash or EFT prior to the function date. EFT details are noted on the booking form. GRATUITIES Every effort is made to make your wedding the best day of your lives. Although gratuities are discretionary, the staff would be incredibly grateful if you would show appreciation for great service by leaving a gratuity with a member of the management team, who will share the gratuity with all the staff. Alternatively, with permission, a gratuity may be deducted from the deposit prior to refund. A admin fee of R8000.00 shall be paid to confirm the booking. This is due upfront to secure your wedding date. A deposit amount for cash bar sales of R6000.00 shall be paid to confirm the cash bar. This is due 2 months before the wedding date. These deposit will be refunded within 5 to 10 working days after the wedding less any costs which may have been incurred as a result of: Breakages Venue hires after midnight (at R1000.00 per hour) Corkage Non-payment of any accommodation of guests staying in the guesthouse. Extra items booked after the final wedding payment. Including draping, extra seating, and/or hired in items. Balance on Cash bar sales Please note the bride and groom are responsible for the guests attending the wedding. Payment of this deposit secures your booking and wedding date. CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT • 90% of the admin fee will be refunded if you cancel 12 months or more before your booked date • 80% of the admin fee will be refunded if you cancel 10 - 12 months before your booked date • 70% of the admin fee will be refunded if you cancel 8 - 10 months before your booked date • 60% of the admin fee will be refunded if you cancel 6 – 8 months before your booked date • 40% of the admin fee will be refunded if you cancel 4 – 6months before your booked date Should the wedding be cancelled, for any reason, between FOUR months before the wedding date, and TWO weeks prior to the wedding date, 50% of the total wedding value and the admin fee of R8 000.00 shall be forfeited. In the event that the wedding is cancelled, for any reason, between TWO and ONE week (14 – 7 Days) before the date of the event, 75% of the total wedding value and the admin fee of R8000.00 shall be forfeited. In the event that the wedding is cancelled, for any reason, in the FINAL WEEK (7 days) before the date of the wedding date, 100% of the total wedding value excluding the admin fee of R8000.00 shall be forfeited. Should the wedding need to be postponed (for any reason), the couple has the option to postpone to the next available date of their choice. ALL confirmed details of the initial wedding date will be postponed to the updated date, including venue, catering, accommodation. The couple will have to pay 50% of the wedding payment upfront and will have up to six months from the initial wedding date to confirm a new date. Should a new date not be confirmed before the end of this six-month period, the wedding will be cancelled and the client shall forfeit the 50% of the total wedding value aswell as the R8 000.00 admin fee. Should the couple choose to cancel due to a change in COVID 19 restrictions our standard cancellation policy applies. The company reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction of the venue by fire or any other cause, any shortage of labour or food supplies, strikes, lockouts or industrial unrest, or any cause beyond the control of the company which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any bookings in its establishment. In such a case, all monies paid to Ollivanders Estate by the client will be refunded in full. The company does not accept liability for loss or damage to any item of property of customers howsoever such loss or damage may occur. An additional cost of R1000.00 per hour, or part thereof, will be charged for functions that last longer than 8 hours or continue after midnight. The client is responsible for all guests, service providers, and their staff, including damages or losses they may cause at Ollivanders. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that outside vendors do NOT make use of any Cutlery, crockery, linen, or equipment belonging to Ollivanders without prior arrangement, including areas not designated as permitted for their use. Set-up can be done the day before the wedding, should the venue be available. Break-down may be done the next working day after the wedding. Please note, Ollivanders Estate is closed on a Sunday. In the unlikely event of there being a breach of this contract, requiring legal intervention, the party in breach will pay the attorney-client fees associated with this intervention. *By making my reservation, I understand and agree to the terms and conditions listed here, as well as in my Emeric Wedding Package.
